Fiorina Kyritsi, MD

Internist

"My mission is to ensure that my patients feel heard, placing them at the center of their care. By giving them the time and space to share their concerns, needs, and stories, and combining this with the resources and technology of Mount Sinai, we can pave the path to their well-being, together."

Fiorina Kyritsi, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the Medical Director for several employer-sponsored Health Centers operated by Mount Sinai, and an internist at The Health Center at Hudson Yards.

A native of Volos, Greece, Dr. Kyritsi received her medical degree from the University of Thessaly. She was valedictorian of her medical school class and went on to do a year of research at the university’s pediatric laboratory. When her mother was diagnosed with a heart condition and sought treatment in the United States, Dr. Kyritsi was impressed by the state-of-the-art medical practice, professionalism and compassion of the doctors she encountered here. Inspired to apply for medical residency in the U.S., she spent a year doing cardiac research at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University (Washington D.C.) and trained in Hematology and Oncology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (Washington D.C.).

Dr. Kyritsi treats patients with a wide range of medical conditions, providing personalized primary care services with an emphasis on preventative medicine and general wellness. Dr. Kyritsi has a particular  interest in the newly established field of Longevity Medicine. Her goal is to move from reactive to proactive care, using exciting, novel diagnostic and therapeutic tools, but doing so in a credible way.
