Dr. Anjali Gupta is a general Internist and primary care physician who brings 25 years of experience to her practice of medicine. She has a deep appreciation for the importance of the patient-doctor relationship and is skilled in a humanistic approach to all aspects of primary care including disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment of new and acute illnesses, and chronic illness care. She is passionate about partnering with patients in their pursuit of health and brings energy to every interaction.

Dr. Gupta has an extensive background in medical education and global health. She has worked in Malawi, India, and Haiti and currently spends many Saturdays at the Mount Sinai Student run free clinic (East Harlem Health Outreach Project), where she serves on the Executive committee and as a faculty advisor. Her outstanding qualities as a physician and educator have been recognized by medical students and residents through her receipt of the Award for Humanism (twice).

Dr. Gupta is a graduate of Brown University, Harvard School of Public Health and Icahn School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Mount Sinai Hospital.

In her free time Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with her 3 children and husband. She loves hot vinyasa yoga, running, dancing, international travel and will never say no to a good book.
