Lara Trevino, AGNP-C, MSN

Nurse Practitioner

“As a nurse practitioner, I diagnose illnesses and provide treatment. For that, I combine evidence-based medicine and nutrition to promote health and longevity with personalized fitness and nutrition plans, sleep hygiene and stress management.”

Lara Trevino is a board-certified Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor and Master of Nursing degrees at Columbia University. Lara is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society and was selected as a Columbia Alumni Scholar and Macy’s Interdisciplinary Scholar. She was awarded a National Health Service Corps Scholarship after graduate school and practiced internal medicine for three years in underserved communities. Lara has clinical experience in internal medicine, anxiety and depression, substance abuse disorders, LGBT+ care and has obtained specialty training in HIV management.

Before graduate school, Lara worked as an administrator at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School to decrease emergency room utilization. In her free time Lara enjoys traveling (she prefers mountains to beaches), trying new workouts, painting, and walking her dog through Central Park.
