Dr. Paul Leis is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai specializing in clinical cardiology, cardiac imaging, and preventive cardiology. Dr. Leis obtained his medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. Dr. Leis continued his academic training with a cardiology fellowship at the world-renowned Mount Sinai Heart, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside, where he served as chief fellow. Dr. Leis treats the whole spectrum of cardiovascular conditions including cardiomyopathy, hypertension, arrhythmias, valvular, coronary and pericardial disease. He is actively involved in clinical research with co-authored peer-reviewed manuscripts, abstracts, and book chapters. Dr. Leis is an active member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
